I'm seething with rage!!!!!!
I was buying chicken for Luna at Ayamas today. I couldn't resist the tempting smell of the roast chicken, so I decided to award myself an ayam percik for suffering from the bad case of food poisoning I kena-d the last 2 days. Bugger, this not very nice Melayu then nicely cut my queue, and sapu-ed the last 3 ayam percik I was gonna buy for dinner.
I actually said to him,
"Excuse me, uncle. Aku waiting kat sini. Not very nice to cut my queue right?" <<-please note that i was still trying hard to be nice.
"Hnnh." *look away*
"Oi. UNCLE. Aku datang dulu la."
"HHhhnnnh" *buat tak tau*
So I tapped him on his shoulders and asked him,
"Tak dengar kan? You cut my queue!"
"Buka puasa la, cik!" <<- Dey, when you puasa, shouldn't you behave better?
He then collected ALL the ayam percik and left. The malay lady that served him merely shrugged at me and said,
"Percik dah habis miss."
and walked away. Mahai. Damn kao angry. If you knew he cut queue, WHY DID YOU SERVE HIM ANYWAY?!?!?!
When I was back in Melbourne, those ang mos will refuse to serve you if you cut someone else's queue. But no one here seems to care. It's like someone's plotting for a murder, and you lend a hand to make it successful.
Since I'm back here, I've been nothing but pissed off by a lot of strangers who loves to push and shove me around, cut my queue while I'm waiting to buy food/ go to toilet/ go into dressing room/ looking at shoes at Vincci/ waiting for a carpark and bullied on road.
Honestly, I'm pretty upset because this is a place I call home and people here just get on my nerves. This also reminded me of 2 years ago when I was working for this architecture firm back in KL. I had to commute via LRT that day because the driver had to drive my dad to somewhere in Subang and my mum took off with her driver to a breakfast charity.
I was walking towards the LRT station in Kelana Jaya when this asshole on motorbike tried to snatch my bag. I was actually right outside the station, and there were a lot of people there. That idiot robber pulled my bag while I was trying to stuff my dinosaur camera into my bag. I lost my balance and fell, on the way knocking the asshole thus he nearly lose his balance of the bike. I pok kai-ed flat on the road. EVERYONE was watching, but no one helped me. NO ONE.
I swear I saw this girl sniggering because I fell. They just watched the whole thing as if they were watching C.S.I live in Kelana Jaya, yet no one even offer to help. They just left me lying on the road with both my arms scraped and my knees bleeding as if my period is flowing heavily from the wrong part of my body. What's wrong with everyone?! Are they afraid this is merely a staged stunt so I could rob them? Or they just didn't care because they are thinking, "Thank God, it's not me."
What's wrong with their mentality? I wonder what happened to the 11 years of Moral education that is forced into our primary to secondary education system.
Sigh. I guess I can only keep my fingers crossed and hope one day, miracles happen, and all will be better (I doubt it'll be better, but I'll eventually get use to it and not notice like everyone else here, which is bloody upsetting) . At the mean time I'll just get really frustrated and vent it our on whine to Boo.

agreed,
this place is just so sickening
there was this psychological study done about cases where crime happens in crowded places and why people never helped.
A lady on a crowded Nyc street was robbed, and she screamed, everyone came out to look, the robber ran away, saw no one came to help her, he came back and finished the job! hahhahahah!
it seemed that everyone thought the next person would be the one to help her out.. AMAZING!
don't worry yc, i'll karate chop him for you!
welcome back to Malaysia
damn ... and it happened on the station side or the other side?
damn notorious la this fella
once me and a friend was in KLCC the curve to KLCC from Rum Jungle, we saw this bike approaching this tourist and all of the sudden he grabbed his pouch or camera or something la ...
we saw it we were i the car - so we gave chase and we almost managed to knock him down ... i mean almost ... me made a u-turn

The Malays are motherfuckers, the most uncivilized pigs in the world. The reason msia is still undeveloped is because of the fucking malays..look at singapore and china...

hence why i could never move back to kl. i can't put up with ignorant/don't care attitudes back home.
such a pity though coz there are great things about kl that i miss.
dev: thanks loons:D
supajock: i've never felt so homely before.

hahaha...i see our friend here is suffering from a bad case of culture shock...welcome back yc...
that's right - no need to be racist about it. There are f**kers in all races. Race has nothing to do with it. Idiots will be idiots.
the phenomena which "deviant" described is called the "by-stander effect".when something bad happens in front of many people, none of them will bother to help, because each of them will think that surely someone will help =S
