With Love From Blackjettas

Spread the love
Lend a hand to the flood victims
It has been awhile since the flood ruined many beautiful homelands. Some might think its a wee late to start this fund raising. But we figured it's never too late to help those in need. Our love for shopping sprouted the brilliant idea of this charity auction almost immediately. Nothing beats retail therapy with a dose of good karma!
Check out: Malaysia's Flood

Shopping for a good cause

Love to shop but can't handle the after-guilt?
Want to help the flood victims but don't know how to?
We're here to help!

We will be auctioning pieces of Blackjettas Jewelries and Drama Mama on this website from 25th January to 1st February 2007 to raise fund for flood relief..
Help the flood victims by simply buying a piece of lovelies from Blackjettas Jewelries or Drama Mama clothing.
90% of the blings collected from the auction will be channeled to the National Disaster Relief.

Why shopping at Blackjettas and Drama Mama kicks the asses of shopping at MNG, Forever21, Zara (etc.) hands down?

  1. It's charity, hun.
  2. 100% guiltless shopping guaranteed. Kick off the guilt as you shop for a good cause! Buying that dress IS helping out someone in need.
  3. Collect good karma as you shop. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Why not?
  4. No one will ever show up with the same jewelry/clothes as you. Anytime, anywhere.
  5. While 90% of the blings aids the flood relief, 10% of whats left feeds the hungry puppy of the starving artist.

msaudrey: Unless you r the size of a whale, you'd b able to fit into most of them.

currypork: Thank you for the suggestion but sorry, no time for that.

mayn3: oops. its on the side bar. anyway, here it is yc.phoon@gmail.com

anon: pls check conversion with www.xe.com . I post worldwide but buyer will have to bear postage.

Thank you for making those pretty dresses in such tiny sizes. What were you thinking? Not all girls are that small and aneroxic. There are also fuller girls back in Malaysia. I hate to say this but it is darn hard to find something pretty and being able to fit in for us.

Heather said...

So small . . . I have hips and boobs alright. And I ain't small.

Anonymous said...

why are you guys being such bitches -_-? Don't want to buy no need lor.

Heather said...

What do you aneroxics know about! Blah . . .

Anonymous said...

fyi, the malaysian government will be donating USD1 million to help the Lebanon.

how about Malaysia Johor Flood victims?? only RM500 million..and that also have to be repaid back to the government. for heaven sake!!!

Knox said...

errr..
are those 2nd hand dress?
has anyone worn them before?

YC said...

anon and heather: thank you for stirring shit. It is your prob and not mine to bother what size you are. Don't be a hater because we're all born in different sizes. Love your own body for fuck sake and stop calling the ones with the blessed metabolic rate aneroxic. I'm trying to hold a charity fundraising so don't go side track. Thank you.

knox: they are new

hi... i really like the Grecian Goddess Dress, how big is it in the M size? btw, great work on the dresses.. looks amazing!

Anonymous said...

Hi YC, what a great idea! Your designs are beautiful! I will link this to my blog and tell all my shopaholic friends. All the best! :)

Anonymous said...

Nice set. Your sizes are only S to M. I usually wear XL or XXL. How? Though i am smaller than a whale, dont think i can fit into those. Pity !! You should consider designing for the bigger bods.

YC said...

susanna: its a free size to stretch to M up to 36/28/36

cc: thanks hun

anon: can you all stop going side track about the dresses being too small and they should come in bigger sizes. For all you know, I'm NOT a professional fashion designer and this is not a firm business. Can't you all focus on the fundraising rather than making a hoo ha out of nothing just because the sizes of the sample dresses are small? Each dress only comes in ONE piece as they are experimental pieces.

Seriously one of a kind. :)

All the best for the charity.

great job!! =) its good to know some people actually care for flod victims nowadays.. makes the world a better place.

the dresses look nice, and i bet they'll look nicer if yuo fit it onto a mannequin, a model.. body figure.. something. it would be a lot more informational for potential bidders to actually see how the dresses would look like on a body-like figure, dont you think? at least, it would bring out the aesthetics of your dress much better than the hangers now, wouldn't it? good lighting for photo shoots is also rather important.

you don't need to take my word for it, but hey, try it out! you'll be amazed at the difference

adios, God bless~
